Heidi Janson is the founder of Brides Across America, a non-profit organization uniting military brides and bridal salons throughout the country for a common purpose to support our troops and families. After spending more than twenty five years in the bridal industry, it was time to take a stand and do her part. Military Brides don't always get their dream wedding. Some brides have to give up their wedding due to their fiancees getting deployed quickly. In other cases, brides have a civil ceremony and then await years for their fiancee to return home to finally have their wedding day. Heidi wants to make a difference and help those troops that are fighting for our country.
Heidi Janson is advocating for the empowerment and financial strength, and freedom for HIV women in Africa through her online store, The Bridesmaid Party. With her entrepreneurial spirit, she has owned and operated four East Coast bridal salons and assisted in the startup of Vera Wang's Boston based bridal salon, she gained a quick following of clients. Heidi has a great understanding of tradition and beauty mixed with a contemporary appeal, and strives to find that perfect dress for her client's wedding day. Always passionate for more in her career, and the deep desire to provide happiness to people, The Bridesmaid Party and Brides Across America were born.

Dear Future Bride,
I am sending this new dress to you with love and thanks. My prayer is that you and your husband will have a long, wonderful life together. I want you to know tht there are women out there who understand and appreciate the sacrifice that you, a Military Wife, willingly undertake when you commit to serve, or to someone who serves his country. You see, I am the soon to be wife of a police officer. He goes to work in dangerous places every day to make us safe. It is not a true war zone and I have the luxury of seeing him at the end of the day... something you are willing to give up for a greater good.
So Happy Wedding Day, and May God less you and your husband.
